Photovoltaic (PV) or solar cells convert sunlight into electricity. When light strikes the semiconductor material of a solar cell, it releases electrons that generate electric current. A solar panel or PV panel is a frame with several connected solar cells. The number of connected solar panels determines the amount of electricity that is produced. Solar panels produce direct current (DC), not alternating current (AC) electricity. We connect the solar panels to an inverter, which changes the current from DC to AC electricity. This clean electricity from the sun can replace power from the national grid or a generator and eliminates all the harm of power from fossil fuels.

Saneliso means satisfaction or satisfier derived from the Siswati language, our name reflects our decision to focus solely on local needs and bring our sustainable vision home. Since our establishment in 2017 we have operated under the mission of bridging the gap for domestic and business electrification needs in a complying manner which is in line with SANS (The South African National Standards). We aim to offer reasonable solutions that are in-line with the latest technological advancements that remedy old systems promoting a carbon free environment while offering stability in production and consumption of electricity. Because we believe sustainable energy is the way of the future and the future is now.
